 Jonathan Tsay Piano Specialist
After studies with Carolyn Savko, Dr. Carol Leone at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and Marc Durand at l’Université de Montréal, pianist Jonathan Tsay earned his doctorate from l'Université de Montréal in 2009. Tsay has been a prizewinner in several regional and national competitions, including the US Music Teachers National Association, and the Concours l’ARAM (Grand Prix 2006). He has performed with ensembles including the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, and the new music ensemble Voices of Change. Since 2004, Tsay has been a regular presenter for Musical Awakenings, a series of educational concerts presented by the Van Cliburn Foundation. In addition to his studio at the Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas, he also serves as faculty at the summer program Conservatory Music in the Mountains and as Artistic Director for ensemble75.
